We believe privacy is not a paradox to be resolved — it is a constant. Here is exactly what we know, what we keep, and what we will never touch.
At CalcGems, we built a calculator site — not a surveillance system. This policy is written plainly, organized by the GEMS framework, and designed to be actually readable. If you spot an undefined variable, let us know.
Every equation starts with what you know. Here is the complete set of data we may collect when you use CalcGems:
That is the complete set. No hidden variables. No undeclared terms.
Some things are worth stating with absolute precision. The following set is empty — and intentionally so. CalcGems does not collect, sell, or trade:
We do not build user profiles. We do not sell data to advertisers. There are no third-party data brokers in this equation. The empty set is intentional.
When you work through long division, there is sometimes a remainder. Cookies are our remainder — small, harmless, and honestly not that interesting.
You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies at any time. CalcGems calculators run entirely in your browser and require no cookies to function.
Science builds on the work of others — and so do we. CalcGems uses the following third-party services:
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA): You have the right to know what data we hold (spoiler: almost nothing), request deletion, and opt out of analytics tracking via browser controls.
To exercise any of these rights, email policy@calcgems.com. We respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy occasionally. The revision date at the top changes when we do. We will never retroactively expand data collection without prominent notice.
This policy in one line: We collect the minimum necessary to run a useful site, and nothing more.
